A Walk Through My Journey...
A walk through my journey… I was born in Lebanon, a land where cedar trees stand tall with strength and olive trees whisper peace. But it was the sweet scent of orange blossoms that truly sparked my imagination—mornings filled with sunlight, laughter, and the quiet magic of childhood.
Life eventually brought me to London, Ontario, where I am blessed with a wonderful family—three children who are now adults, flourishing in their own careers, and a husband who has always supported my passion for writing. Writing has always been part of me, but it has only truly come alive in recent years, complementing my love for working with children and inspiring their minds.
Alongside writing, I spend my days with young children as an Early Childhood Educator with the London District Catholic School Board, nurturing their curiosity, creativity, and love of learning. I also dedicate myself to guiding the next generation of educators. At Fanshawe College, I teach Pedagogy and Curriculum in the Early Childhood Education program, helping students design meaningful, engaging, and inclusive experiences for children. As a Faculty Advisor, I mentor students through their placements, supporting them to grow into confident, reflective professionals ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of the children they teach.
Every story I write blooms with love, family, and the beauty of nature. My two cherished books, The Peaceful Orange Blossoms and The Proud Olive Tree, have already invited readers into my world. My next book, The Friendly Cedar Branch, is in progress to bloom. with every story, I hope it will take you back to your own childhood, stir your memories, and let you feel the wonder, warmth, and magic of those moments once again.
